Care Instructions
Congratulations on your new Shananagins bag or accessory! Care for your purchase is rather easy. All of our bags and purses are pretreated with Scotch Guard Fabric Spray. Your bag will look newer longer if you reapply this every six months. We recommend spot cleaning for all of our designs, however, should your bag or accessory find itself in need of a more through cleaning this is what we recommend:
For Shananagins Bags and Diaper Bags:
After removing the hardboard bottom and turning you bag inside out; wash your bag in mild laundry detergent on the "delicate" or "hand wash" cycle of your machine. Turn bag right side out, hang your bag up, and allow it to air dry. You can use a wrinkle release spray to remeove any wrinkles, and smooth out the creases with your hand. Reinsert the hardboard bottom. Your bag should look good as new!
For Slings:
Wash in mild detergent on the "gentle" or "hand wash" cycle. Tumble dry on "LOW" with a few thick towels to prevent the rings from banging against the sides of the dryer. You may use a wrinkle release spray to remove any creases or iron on a medium setting.
For all other Accessories:
Being handcrafted, all of our accessories should be treated with care. Washing in mild detergent on the "gentle" or "hand wash" cycle; and then air drying or machine drying on the "low" setting will assure that your accessory will remain looking as good as when you first purchased it!
